Persistence. Diligence. Experience. Knowledge. Attention to the goals of the client.
These are the building blocks of success at Stutheit & Gartland, P.C. Since 1997, we have stayed true to those principles with each and every client. Our firm has a solid reputation for high-quality legal representation, skilled advocacy and a personal concern for each of our clients. Contact us for an initial interview with an experienced lawyer at our firm.
Our attorneys have more than four decades of combined experience practicing law, including an extensive background in civil litigation and appeals. Furthermore, attorney Brian Stutheit has received the AV Preeminent* rating under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review ratings system. We are focused on helping each client get the best results possible at the lowest cost in a variety of practice areas, including:
Our lawyers help men and women with a variety of employment-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, noncompete and employment agreements, family and sick leave (FMLA), wages, overtime and insurance. We also offer answers to your questions related to short- and long-term disability insurance, Social Security disability insurance, pensions and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
We represent property owners, contractors, subcontractors and construction/design professionals like architects and engineers. We are experienced with issues that arise in construction law, including mechanics liens, contract disputes, construction defects and claims of professional negligence, mold, insurance for property repairs, permits and HOA property maintenance duties. We have litigated cases involving roofs, walls, windows, basements, foundations, HVAC systems, driveways, roads and drainage.
Insurance Law — Disability and Life Insurance
You can stop delays and denials and make the insurance company give you the benefits you paid for. Representing policyholders, we resolve disputes with insurers and provide counsel on a wide variety of coverage-related issues.
Probate, Estate Litigation and Wills
We help individuals and families with estate planning, probate and trust or estate litigation. When a family member has become physically or mentally unable to care for his or her own affairs, we help clients navigate the guardianship or conservatorship process. Did someone take more than his or her share of Mom's estate? Did a person not even related abuse a power of attorney? Stutheit & Gartland, P.C., knows what to do.
Both employees and employers use our firm to present their position to the Colorado Department of Labor. If you attend an appeal hearing without a lawyer, you jeopardize your rights. We also help employees analyze whether they will qualify for benefits and help them to write their claims so that they take full advantage of the law.
Other Areas of Practice
Our practice extends to insurance defense. See our listing at www.ambest.com/legal, the directory of recommended insurance attorneys.
