Brian K. Stutheit is an accomplished attorney with approximately thirty years experience. Mr. Stutheit is soft spoken, but has a special talent for persuasion, whether persuading a jury, a hearing officer, or a mediator.
CAREER OVERVIEW
1998 to Present. Founding partner, Stutheit & Gartland, P.C.
1983 to 1998. Montgomery Little & McGrew, P.C. (Now Montgomery Little & Soran)

Civil litigation and probate law. Civil litigation emphasized construction defect litigation, fire and water damage liability and insurance matters, personal injury claims, professional malpractice defense and employment litigation, as well as litigation related to employer benefits and insurance plans. Mr. Stutheit handled the firm's probate litigation, including will contests, spousal disinheritance matters, trust litigation, and fiduciary misconduct claims.
Prior to 1983 Colorado Medical Society
Represented the Society as a lobbyist before the Colorado General Assembly and State and Federal agencies.
Education
Mr. Stutheit earned a J.D. degree from the University of Texas. He is a Colorado native, born in Greeley and raised in Littleton.
Sample Of Current Work
In the past year, Mr. Stutheit litigated court cases concerning construction defects in commercial and residential buildings, discriminatory employment practices by a residential care facility, wrongful withholding of a salesman's commissions, mechanics lien enforcement and challenges, and personal injury from a fall at a medical office building. He handled numerous unemployment hearings, and appeared for State employees before the Division of Administrative Hearings.
